Hey guys i recently posted a thread about my black print not printing correctly. After ordering new dampers/captop/wipers and replacing all of the three items i noticed that there was air in the black line hence the reason i was having trouble. Well after i had replaced the new parts and tried using a suringe to pull the ink through the lines i found that two of the ink lines are broken. Its saturday here and i will not be able to contact roland till monday to re-order these parts which means im basically at least 4 days from recieving these parts. I need to know the best way to prevent any damage to the ink/print heads? Can i soak the print heads for that long? Can i leave the dampers like that for that long? I am really in desperate need of some assistance as i cant afford to have everything dry up on me! I had the black firing well last weekend but continually dropped out and after finding out why it makes sense. It all lokks as was from factory so it hasnt been touched to cause this problem
