Hello,

I am new to this. We bought a second hand Roland sc-500, but unfortunatly we didn’t get the dongle with it.
Can we make the machine work without a dongle? Or can we buy any software in with the dongle is included?

I may be wrong, but I've never had a dongle with any Roland machine I've ever had. do you have a copy of the Roland rip software?

We only got a Version of the flexi sign with it, but without the dongle...

There are RIP‘s available which work with that printer, but for example with Flexi there are no updated printing profiles anymore because the machine is very outdated (last new one sold in around 2004).

Dont invest too much in that printer, as soon as the capping wears out (suggested to be replaced each year), you will not be able to get one anymore
