Sign shop #6 has opened up in my area. Really they just do a lot of vinyl, but I stumbled on to his website today. FORD, CHEVY, HARLEY DAVIDSON, CUMMINS, etc….. all over the place. Should I give the dude a friendly heads up, or just wait for Harley's Lawyers to put him out of business? I really don't know they guy, and we compete for very little business….

Why bother? let them figure it out themselves, if you get involved, and harley actually comes after them, they may think you had something to do with it.

There is a guy that comes to our local flea market 3-4 times a years selling decals like that. I askied him about getting in trouble. He told me he has been selling them since he retired in 1999 and no one have ever said anything to him, and he travels all over the whole United States....I know it is illegal but I do see a lot of people doing it and getting away with it.

I don't do it cause I have a friend who used to make Cornhusker stickers and the NCAA sent her a nasty letter and followed it up with a visit from a law team to her shop. She doesn't make Husker decals anymore. I see this hack does Buckeye stuff....it will be just a matter of time.

I wouldn't.
The chances of getting caught when you're online are much greater than at a flea market.

Making America great, one sign at a time.
friendly pat on the back, maybe

as long as the decals are registered and TM'd
or,
if the company doesn't make them any more, well
cut and weed away!!

I actually make it a habit of reporting stuff like that just for fun.
It's not like I'm rolling in business.

They wil find out one day, not all Harley reps (aka:moonlighting lawyers), drive up in a Lexus, wearing a suit. Some of them pull up on a fatboy, wearing overalls, and a harley shirt. XBIL
