Should We leave our VersaArt turned on?

Its an RS-640. It has two power buttons, one is subpower..the on button
The other is the physical rocker switch in the back.

Do we need to leave it on or turn it off at the end of the day? I know some printers perform maintenance or some such at night.

Leave the unit powered on at all times. Lift the pinch roller wheels and it will go into low-power sleep mode after a period of inactivity (~30 minutes).

I leave our printer with main power on....sub power off....It WILL go to sleep automatically if you have that setting enabled, but ours still powers on periodically to do a quick cleaning and then turns itself back off.... as long as the MAIN power is left on, you're ok.

you should have an auto setting that will auto shutoff after no use from anywhere between 15mins to 60 mins i think it is. (sleep mode). just let the printer auto shut down and leave it. it will do a self clean every 12 hours or so.

+1 Definitely leave the main power switch on and don't worry about powering it down on the front panel either. It will "go to sleep" on its own and run periodic cleaning cycles to ensure the heads or lines don't become clogged with ink.
