sign display idea.....

nashvillesigns

Making America great, one sign at a time.
Happy holidays!
i am going to add a display up front. my working size is a 1/2 foam board @ 64" tall by 24" wide.
for some reason, i am having a design block right now. i am looking for something when designed, that says" hey buy me!!"
sigh.
any ideas are GREATLY considered.
(except somebody in a bikini. i have a LOT of churches and schools as customers. Not cool.....)

not sure I get what you are doing. are you making a display that will showcase what you do or just one big thing? what do you do?

I don't know if you have a logo or not, but why not make a cut-out shape of your name & logo and paint it up real nice at the top of your board and leave room for a photo gallery of some of your nicest jobs ?? You can change them out from time to time to keep it fresh looking.

sign display idea..

lol. i have been designing signs for over twenty years. i have come to discover i cam reproduce things magically well, but for some reason, am my own worst enemy when designing my own...

1. i have a retracable banner stand. the design i did for that is attached.

2. on the back wall is baumgardner jumping out of his shuttle. i get a lot of compliments on that.

3. i am thinking of the next idea to be some kind of lonely windy road that shows a confused person on it.
the caption would read
"don't get your customers lost
without the right display!"

when i look at this, i feel like i am choking on a giant cornball.

I completely agree, churches and schools are not cool at all and they are my least favorite customers to deal with.

Yikes...this is a lesson unto itself. Just do what you do when a customer walks in the door and doesn't have a clue what they want. Start by asking yourself the obvious questions, and then narrow down the ideas until you finally reach a viable solution.

should be more progressive. person off in the distance, same person closer to forground, repeat as necessary to draw your eyes towards the punchline: ... same person walking/crashing-into a signpost that reads your quote above.

....just like Kanye

Seriously I am working on a church deal now, some type of committee. It looks like they are going to be difficult to land.
