It's a corn snake, Okeetee corn to be exact. I have one sitting in my lap as we type:) harmless and make one of the best pets as far as snakes go.

very pretty snake. so many people kill them just because they are afraid of them. same thing goes for spiders. glad you took photos and let it go on it's way.

He does resemble a Corn Snake, but you must look at the head area. In your picture the head looks too wide to be a Corn Snake. If the head is wide it's a Copperhead.

The head size is basically what determines poisonous snakes.
