snap frames for truck

customer wants a snap frame like the MDI type that can hold a panel that can be changed. they are looking for size around 3' x 5'. is here such a thing? did a search online and am getting the banner type make your truck into a billboard but no snap frames. the truck isn't huge, it's a flower delivery truck

Don't believe you will find a "true" snap frame for vehicles. By "true" I mean that only the snap rail holds the substrate in place.
For thinner graphics, banners, styrene, PVC, the rails don't have enough force to hold them in. At high speeds and passing other trucks a "suction" can be created and pull the graphic out. Several years ago I tried to track same thing down and was told this by several manufacturers.
Plus you have to consider vehicle max width which I think is 102". Some of the snap frames have a 1" or so profile.
If you do find some, please post that. Would like to find some also.

I took another look online and entered snap frames for buses and was able to find a place that does them for moving vehicles called Letter Bank, www.letterbank.com not sure if they sell small qtys or not

One thing i noticed that was mentioned:
Addition of a continuous bead of high-strength silicone or outdoor grade foamed weather seal is now recommended to prevent wind gust blow-out of media inserts.

Maybe if you used a sturdier material like aluminum/pvc composite, such blow-outs would be limited.

Those frames look nice. I bookmarked the page for future reference.

Ackland media frames is probably the closest to a snap frame.

just got my quotes from them and they aren't bad. I got for two types of profiles and one can hold up to .25" thick, the other .5" thick

The manufacturer of these is alpina mfg in Chicago. Website is fastchangeframes.com.
Might get better pricing direct from them. They also might give better answer on truck use recommendations.
