What are you guys using to design vehicle wraps and to design stickers and so on.
I have alwasy created stickers in illustrator but that has always been single color or layered vinyl but we have also added in digital printing coming soon.
I have been told to use all illustrator and i have been told to use photoshop only and then a combo.

Seems like i would use photoshop for the overlays and the cutout of the auto. Use illustrator for any single color or logos already created and photoshop for the actual designs with masking and all that.

Just looking for input.

You're on the right track.
if you're already experienced with the Adobe Suite of products then I would suggest going your planned route.
If not, then I encourage you to try some of the other options also like Corel Draw and see which one you prefer to work in.

If you're not previously thoroughly experienced with the software, I would suggest hiring a contract designer (to do your first few wraps especially) and then taking their files apart to see how/why they did certain things certain ways.

I have been designing wraps for years, and it seems that almost every time a company has someone inexperienced design their wrap (for us to print/install) that they make major mistakes that cost a lot of money to reprint or send installers out on multiple trips. So, be ready for some re-work on your first few wraps. Most of the time thankfully, I am able to review their artwork before printing and make a couple suggestions/revisions before we print them.
