sp300i help please?? super slow

Hi, Help or advice please? My sp300 has started printing super slow instead of going back and forth repeatedly it does a pass then literally waits a few mins before the next pass waited 30 mins and it had printed 3cm of vinyl ? Saying black ink low but even tried printing pure cyan colour text and still the same.

I have turned everything off and on, cleaned it etc but basically unuseable as is unless you want to wait 24 hours to print 4ft of print :-(

I think the problem is more likely with your software. If you are using VW try uninstalling and reinstalling it, it sounds like it isn't sending the whole job and is just sending a small part at a time.
There isn't really anything that can go wrong with the printer to make it print slowly (other than corrupted firmware, but this is pretty rare ) . You can test this by printing a nozzle test print from the printer and see if that prints at normal speed as this doesn't rely on external software

Do you have genuine Roland ink or 3rd party?
Yes, try reinstalling VW.

Look to see how much free hard drive space you have. A lack of free space can really slow everything down. Also look at your print queues and consider either deleting files or moving them to a backup folder if you need to keep them.
