Hi Folks,
I'm looking at buying a SP540V.
It's set up with bulk ink system CISS since new, and with the Aussie Mimaki inks since new, not the Roland inks, but it's always been like that.
The problem I have it is's 9 hours drive away, and the seller has not got a clue how to get it to print or save make a "service report" on the state of the heads etc, not a "test print". He's had it serviced by the techs whenever they come in his area (country NSW, not near any major cities).
I believe the heads may have another 10-12 months life left in them, and that's about it, but I'd like to know if they're closer to being crook than that...
Can anyone here please spell out for me what buttons to press to get to whichever menus are needed to get those two reports-the service & head test?
