stupidest question ever.

hello!

Stupid question here.
I am trying to install Mimaki fine cut on a 2011 Mac mini.
………...it keeps asking for a previous version CD/DVD to me inserted in the middle of the install.
i can't find the any kind of slot for this on my sleek, fast, sexy 2011 Mac Mini.
Should a route one out?

Perhaps you don't have a cd slot and need a remote unit? Ask me how I found that out when my new laptop arrived.....

i would imagine you copied the cd onto the computer and opened it up on the desktop?
