Subtank error on my VJ1604

After a print today the machine flashed up E118Err SubTank Lo K.
I have took the line out from the cartridge to the subtank just after the solenoid and pulled the ink back through (their must have been a block at the solenoid).
But do I have to recharge the subtank?
Can I just do the Black?

It seems to have stopped flashing up an Error.
But is their enough ink left in the system.

Do a small charge, it will re-fill the subtanks if needed
