Suggestions for A White Vinyl Over Red

I am looking at doing a sign on red diabond with some white overlays.
I noticed on that red Oracal 651 shows through the white, so I am expecting the same problem with this sign.
Are there any white vinyl products that are opaque or thick enough that would block out any background colours?
Maybe a print media product?

Just find a grey or black adhesive vinyl. Laminated Oracal intermediate would work. So would the black adhesive Arlon. Of course, good old fashioned IJ-35 would as well.

Yeah, Oracal 3551 has a gray backing, so I assume that will work.
