Anyone been contacted by a lady with a New Zealand accent asking about Roland "printer cutter" . I gave her some of my time and she asked alot of questions as to why I purchased the Roland "printer cutter"over the Gerber Edge. Funny thing is she has called me 5 more times with the same survey.

Option #1): Could have been a sales rep from Gerber trying to get the skinny on Roland

Gerber

From what I hear, Gerber has a patent on printing and then contour cutting vinyl. I sold maybe 150 printer cutters over the years so maybe my name was tagged to a bunch of serial numbers and that is why i got all the calls. With Gerber down to just the edge for printers, and having just been sold, maybe someone is bringing up a patent issue.
