Templates for Vehicle Wraps?

I have only been wrapping vehicles for about a year, only did 7 so far.
I only used a template once.
Question for you pros...Are templates the way to go?
Right now I have a job for a Ford E-250 van and a Chevy HHR, what I would do in the past is take pics of the van while I am out quoting and then photoshop a proof to customer.
I think it may be easier and more professional to use a template, do you agree, if so could you briefly explain?

Also where can I go to get ACCURATE templates one at a time, I don't want to buy a full library, I don't currently do enough?

I'd just buy an entire collection, once you buy a handful of separate ones you've pretty much paid more than you would have for the entire collection.

Far as I know yes - pretty much all shops that do a good amount of vehicle graphics have full template packages and also buys the updates every couple of years of not yearly. Still have to double check measurements before final output but it makes laying things out very rapid and looks professional too.
