I've never understood the whole font police concept... a font is not inherently bad or good just becuase of how much it's used.

The way I look at it is the font either works for the visual design or it doesn't. I can think of designs where comic sans would look appropriate. I see a lot of font bashing here, but that is more personal preference than anything else.
