Thinking of replacing our 570 with a R5070.. Thoughts?

Our 570 is getting up in age, and with the addition of a flatbed, it's kind of overkill for the work it actually gets. Looks like the Epson r5070 is a good option. Wondering if any of you have this machine or any thoughts on it. Thanks in advance.

With all this being said.. another question is what would be a good number for the 570? It's 7 years old, fully operational. We had some issues a few months back, HP couldn't nail down the issue so in turn most of the internals are all brand new. Some include new pips, Carriage PCA, flex and trailing cables. I'm working on getting a list of the rest but don't have that yet. Just wondering if any of you are familiar with the market for this machine.

R5070 is a solid printer. Prints fast and color is great. My only complaint is the heat from the dryer sometimes warps the materials. I am selling my R5070L. It's the bulk ink option. Hotswapping ink is nice. It's almost 3 years old and in great condition. We use it everyday but I am moving production to my Canon Colorado. Details are here but if you want buy direct through me, I can knock off $2000. Printer is in Waco, Texas. I also have a dozen or more professionally made Onyx color profiles for General Formulations vinyls.

Go with the solvent epson, the heat on the R5070 is the main disadvantage. You'll be either dealing with media getting messed up from the heat or the ink no curing/drying all the way and turning waxy.

I can't really print banners on my R5070 either, if I use enough heat to cure the ink, the banner gets very warped, less heat and ink doesn't dry all the way in some spots. Wish I would've bought the solvent but its doing its job as a back up to my Colorado

I run banners all the time on our 5070 and don't have any issues with warping the material.

Yes 9 pass and we use Duratex from Grimco.
Same, my ink on darker colors doesn't cure/dry at 95 degrees but if I crank it up to where it does dry the banner is warped. Problem is mostly on the edges when printing 63" material. I think there is a little less heat on the edges. Scratch resistance is very poor too, doesn't live up to the claims. People complaining about the scratch resistance on the FB page too
