What are your thoughts on this printer?

Really all depends on what you are looking to do. It's one of the most popular ones out there. From what I have seen it's the most user friendly. Can handle all of the medias the other models can it's just slower. For the price it's the best value out there to get started and has one of the lowest breakdown rates of them all.

Then again, I hate to say this but 90% of the problems we see on these machines are user inflicted, lack of maintenance or 3rd party parts/ink. Like that statement or not, we're the ones fixing them and that's what we see..

I think it's a solid unit but then again like I said, it all depends on what you are looking to do. PM Me if you have any more questions

We are in a position to pickup an sp540i for $3500 in perfect working condition. Think we might pull the trigger today! Hard to pass up a good deal like that.

Got an email from a company about one month ago listing used printers for sale. They had an SP540i listed at 17k.

Your deal sounds almost to good to be true.

If it's genuine then i'd say go for it!

Jesus..where in the hell did you find that!? $3500!?! Wow...Just be careful. Make sure you get a copy of the history and service report. Last time I had a customer buy a machine for a cheap price off an end user it needed 5 print heads out of 6 and a servo board.
