Really all depends on what you are looking to do. It's one of the most popular ones out there. From what I have seen it's the most user friendly. Can handle all of the medias the other models can it's just slower. For the price it's the best value out there to get started and has one of the lowest breakdown rates of them all.
Then again, I hate to say this but 90% of the problems we see on these machines are user inflicted, lack of maintenance or 3rd party parts/ink. Like that statement or not, we're the ones fixing them and that's what we see..
