TIF files adding black background in Flexi

So I have been trying to import some TIF files in Flexi, new version 12. They are solid objects with white background. Suddenly in this new version, the files import with black backgrounds. Anyone else see this? Why would this even be happening? I'm now having to resave them as PSD files and they import right that way. Really stupid.

Might have to do with layers being preserved in your TIFs? Just a shot in the dark.

We have an older version of Flexi and have the same issue from time to time. We click Unmask then delete the black background. May have to do it a second time. We have no clue why it does it with some files.

It was the stupid alpha channel being on. Not sure why that was set.... thanks.
