for those of you designing on Macs, I HIGHLY recommend adding this to your list of back-up procedures. Was having printer issues today, and noticed a "reset printing system" option and figured "Surewhynot. Resetting is always good, right?" WRONG.
Apparently that button means "Delete all printers/settings list".
Time Machine to the rescue!
Had this setup when we first bought this design mac, via attached 1tb harddrive, but I've never had to use it until now... Backs up twice daily and saves everything for months. All I had to do was select a few folders and hit "restore" and all of the data/drivers/settings from last week (when I knew my printer was working properly) copied-over to my system and my printer list/settings returned back to "normal" once again!
