Wed AM at 7:35 - Today show on NBC - Just saw the "coming up" message and saw a dude torchin a fender! Put it on if u have TV where u are-interesting???

Just caught the tail end of it, starting with the part where the advertising expert (or whatever she was) said that some people can feel threatened by these because they are too intrusive.

Saw it this morning. Great plug for vehicle wraps. We have a few mini's in our community with advertising like that. It's a win win. Get paid for driving around where you would go anyway and the advertiser gets a moving 'billboard'.

I think the company name was Driven Media that hired the company to wrap. Check out the Today show site and maybe they list the story.

For those proactive...they plan to take it across the US so contacting them to be a prospective supplier may be to your advantage.

$500.00 a month - $6000 a year - Kinda steep for your average business to advertise isn't it? And that's just the cost of what they are paying the vehicle owner, what about the cost of the Wrap itself?

Local transit charges roughly $20,000 - $24,000 / year for local bus wraps, will only pay $6,000 on install [**Edit, printing and install] and it must be perfect... Regardless of the fact they're dirtier than some of the mining equipment up here.

$6000 a year for vehicle wrap ad is a lot cheaper than a couple of decent black & white ads in the city newspaper that only last one day.
