Trouble with getting Heaters to turn off on a Valuejet 1204.

I have turned all heaters off in both the softaware for my production manager and on the machine itself. Am I missing something or is this just a problem taht comes with the machine. I must have the heaters off so I really need a solution. Any help would be appreciated as my service contract is up and the company we bought it from is wanting to charge us to answer the question.

There's 3 ways to adjust the heaters. 1) From the RIP 2) From the Media Type setting on the Menu on the Printer 3) From the Menu on the control panel, while it's printing. #1 and #2 can sometimes over ride each other depending on how you have things set. #3 only changes the temps for the current print that is running.

Thank you for that because I forgot about option 3, but all are showing as off. But when I check the temp while the job is running it is showing as 50 c fo the platen and 49 c for the Pre-heater. This makes no sense to me seeing as they are all off. I have checked and rechecked and tried different media setting and it will not turn them off. It is very frustrating, and I am about ready to find out how to disconnect the heating element so it won't turn on.
