UCJV330 - Dropped black Head 1

Goatshaver

Shaving goats and eating bushes
Been having this intermittent issue every couple of months. I'll start a print and within an inch of so into the print the black from head 1 drops out completely.
I've tried a normal cleaning, hard cleaning and 2 x nozzle wash and it still won't print anything.

Any suggestions?

The way the lines are run on the 330 is pretty dang tight. Had issues where a line got kinked or a damper got pulled up causing the head to have ink starvation. The first thing I would do is to make sure dampers are clipped in properly and lines look to be straight.

Unforteulatly I've developed more problems. Came in the morning and all my media names were reset. Went to do a test print and it immeedialy shut down. Turned it back on and tried another test print and gave me an error. "Error 707 Head Heater Break 1_"
Ugh looks like I've got gremlins in the machine again.

Joy, wonder if a connection got bumped. Bust of luck. Thankfully the heaters are a cobbled together doohickey instead of an internal printhead heater line.

Definitely something weird going on. Got all these 3 yesterday. Some of my media profiles showed up again o the machine. I'm not liking all these random message, makes me feel like they are going to be throwing lot of parts at this.
How do I get into the service mode? Do you have a service manual for the 330?

In my opinion, I think it's the main board again. *bangs head on desk* Noticed all my cutting setting are gone as well, almost any custom setting on the machine was reset. Some of the media profiles names came back. It's just doing very odd things like last time and I was down for 2 weeks. That's when I had the machine installed. Thankfully I'm still under warranty for a few more months.

Wow, might be a firmware issue if I were to take a stab in the dark.

Service mode: Hold Func1 and Func3 when booting, let go when you hear beep/firmware version shows on screen. Go to menu and should be an extra page for #ADJUST, #TEST, & #PARAMETER
