unlock, group and use contours from a file HELP!!!

Hi Folks, I have been trying to unlock a file that has a built in contour, I'm looking to arrange the sections into a smaller area and convert to an eps for flexi to rip and print but i can't get the contour to 'unlock' or basically do anything, someone please shoot me or put me out of my misery, thanks

Unlocking objects

Either the the layer or the objects are locked, check the object manager (windows/dockers) the pencil icon indicates if the layer is locked, right clicking on the object shows if the object is locked.
