Had a couple of print heads go bad prematurely last night. After replacing the parts on warranty, I was told that the updated 5.0 should alleviate future problems:

The latest is 5.00.00.08 and you can update the firmware on your L25500 by downloading it from: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135 &swItem=tw-78466-8
Then opening up the web interface (open web browser and type in the IP address) and going to Set Up, then firmware update on the left side.
