ValueJet has NO POWER??

This morning after I took my VJ out of sleep mode, and pressed enter to size my media there was a very light sound thud and my printer power went out..

I attempted to turn the machine back on with no luck.

I unpluged the machine for approx. 10 mins. replugged it in.. still no power??

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? or may know whats wrong?

wow.. I FREAKED FOR NOTHING.. It's powereing up now.. I had it unplugged for about 15 mins and plugged it back in and viola (sp?)

My TV did the same thing the other day. Talk about upset. Unplugging it for a while fixed it.

Internal surge protection? Resets itself?

Probably bad input power.

There is a thermal fuse in the power supply circuit.
It takes about 15 minutes for it to reset.

Check your power, and invest in a surge protector and/or line conditioner.

Can this thermal fuse blow like a regular fuse?? Might be handy to have an extra?

Thermal fuses just reset themselves when the temp returns to normal.
