Vendors and suppliers

Not sure if this is where this would need to be. We have been buying materials from sign warehouse and the service and pricing has been ok but we are in the market for a new supplier since we are adding digital printing to the mix. We have been talking to fellers and so far talking to them they seem very straight for and knowledgeable but they do not have some items like magnetic blanks. Be nice to find a great go to place for everything but don't see that happening.

Nothing wrong with having several distributors all over the place. I've never put all my eggs in one basket.

We used to buy from several vendors and it caused nothing but problems.
When an issue came up with a product we had to track down where we bought it from
and there were too many inconsistencys in products, shipping , etc.

To eliminate this I wanted to buy as much of my products from one vendor, which also gave me
extra leverage with them.

I went with Grimco for the following reasons:

1. I deal with one person, not who ever happens to answer my call, I email my orders to my sales person
& he writes me back within minutes to let me know when it will arrive or if there is an issue. Also, and he knows what product
we use and that cuts down on confusion.

2. They sell all of the vinyls, laminates, and substrates we use.

3. They have good prices and will beat others prices if you price check and they're too high.

4. They have daily deliveries in my area.

+1 on that, I use Grimco for the same reasons. You can call your rep to directly answer your questions about materials and pricing. They will also send you small samples of products that you are interested in. Plus, they deliver to me every week as long as I order $100 worth which is not hard at all to do.
