Versaworks variable data setup

ok

im trying to use the Variable data feature of Versaworks. I have finally worked out the problems i have with the artwork and got it to successfully see the variable data field.

I am now looking at a list of 50 input fields that i need to format, but by the looks of it i have to input all the text attributes individually. Is this correct or is there a way to auto format the attributes for all the data in 1 common setting?

Just its very time consuming to go in to change the font, size, spacing, colour etc. 50 options isnt many, but it would take ages if i had to do an order of 2000 which i am quoting on at the moment.

Thanks

Excel sheet. One column "data1" second Column "data2"
Attach in versaworks and label the boxes in your eps the same data fields

Thanks for the replies, but the doesnt really assist me.

This is my first order using the variable data, and it was going pretty easy until this stage.

I was able to get the variable data portion to work. Versaworks recognizes the cut lines, and the variable data field in the graphic. I have uploaded the CSV file and its reading this perfectly. Im now upto setting up the text attributes of the variable data.

The question is. I need to set all the fields the same to have the font, same font size, same font tracking, and same colour. Is there a way to change all of them at once, or do i have to click on each piece of data individually and set all these attributes for each item.

It doesnt made sense to have to do that, it would be very time consuming.

The help file didnt answer the question either.

any advice would be appreciated

Warren
