Vinyl Cutting Pricing Question

Eduardo Castro

New Member
When doing a cut vinyl work, do you add the vinyl material and transfer paper already at a markup to your final marked up price ? Or you only add the cost and then do the markup as a hole ?

Hope made myself clear :)

Always mark up anything you touch, assemble, manipulate, etc. So you should have a markup for each item/process or one for each product based on all parts of the whole.

My company we mark each individual item/process differently. Materials is typically 2-3x, machine time is typically 2x, and labor is 3x.
