Vinyl side protection

Want to use a printed vinyl of red stripes to lay across a shed roof. One will be outside in the direct sunlight for up to a year. What of anything can be applied to it to help preserve its colors??

It's OK to roll back up?

Coat it with a liquid laminate such as 'Clear Shield Classic or Original Formula' or something similar . The acrylic coating of a liquid laminate typically has far more UV protection than vinyl laminates. And yes, you can roll it back up.

any brand name inks should last a year without any lamination or use cut vinyl and it'll last longer
