VJ 1204 E079Err comm message...

somebody please help me...
last night i tried to update the lastest firmware (1.18 & 1.12) for my vj1204 printer...suddenly i got problem with sub controller update..
after reboot then i got this "E079Err comm" and i can`t use my printer at all..
what should i do ??

When you went to update the Sub-controller did you get a boot error?

How was the issues resolved?

Got it figured out. Had to re-set the 2nd dip switch on the heater board. Flash then move it back to the factory position.

Mutoh 1204 msg error

I noteced the date on this post...have you solved the problem?
I had that error message - and yes, i updated as well.
I am sorry to say that I ended up w replaced parts that equaled a new printer. (I believe that the tech that serviced it was incompetent - won't say who...just yet.)
