VJ-1204 " Undefined Media" error

I was trying to load banner material and I keep getting Undefined Media" error.

-Media it is loaded straight
- Cleaned the paper sensor. ( covered the paper sensor with masking tape )
- Tried different materials

Any thoughts on this one ?

Media is probably too far left.
Make sure it lines up with the media hub.

Do you have core extending beyond your media on the capping side of the printer?

Is your media coned?

Every once in a while I get that error. Usually just have to lift up the lever, and push it back down. Sometimes takes a few tries

There is also a sensor on the carriage that looks at the left and right edges of the media.

Make sure the media guides are not place on the media. That could do it also...It has caught me a couple of times...:Big Laugh...well more than a couple.

Hello Everybody,

Thanks for you answers on this. I temporally fix the problem by turning the media Initial off. To me sounds like one of the sensor(s) failed. I'll be on the phone with Mutoh Today.

Paper sensor was bad. GEI Replace it.
