VJ-1614 Not printing

I need some advice on my VJ-1614 I have replaced the printhead the maintenance station and ink but I get nothing when I tell it to print or send a file to the printer the printhead run but no ink is deposited on the media everything looks primed. any tips would be great. also for once I get it going if anyone could give me advice on switching over to 1000ml ink or even refillable cartridges id be greatful.
