Question VJ-1624 vs VJ-1624x What the difference.

Hello everyone,

We got a great deal on a VJ-1624x and I wanted to know what is the difference between VJ-1624x and VJ-1624. We had to replace the print head and I found out that they use the same DX7 epson print head. I have searched and found almost no information about the vj-1624x but a ton of info for the vj-1624. So yeah just curious to see what the difference is. Thank you in advance.

Both printers has a same printhead. But it is not DX7 exactly.
Main difference is some annidion features in X model. Like DropMaster feature what compensate media thickness for BiDir adjustment in user media settings.

It's basically just a firmware upgrade with the Dropmaster function added as stated above. Gives you a little more control over print quality.
