vj1204 random smearing and streeks bad media or what

Hello please check the photos.

I have random 2 3 inches spots which are brighter on a solid color.
it was working well until i put a new roll of wall frog. My questions is could this be the media or the heater or the printhead.
nozzle check is 99 percent good.
Printed the same thing on vinyl and worked great.
Please let me know whether i should contact the supplier as this thing is super expensive and i dont want to waste my nerves on it.

Clean the encoder scale/ T-Fence using rubbing alcohol only. However I think you have answered your own question when you said you can print on a differnet vinyl without any problem.

It is a PVC media? I could be DOP migration of that specific roll. Did you try another roll?

thanks for the answers I think it is the media and I am fighting to get a new roll It costs 400 cad

It could be the media but that looks like the media is buckling to me. Usually it's because the heat is too high but any time the media buckles you will get patterns like that.
