I have a customer who keeps asking me about wall calendars. Every website I find a wall calendar for, they are so darned expensive unless youre ordering 1000. WELL, this customer wants all the months on one sheet. EASY. What can I print it on? Poster paper? And in this instance, they have plastic top and bottom to keep it straight. ...
Does anybody else make wall calendars? how do you do it?

I was going to say send it to Signs365 but their largest size for poster board is 18"x28" and $2 sheet. Zoo Printing has large poster sizes and quite a few paper options. FireSprint sized 30x40" is under $10 a piece for 50 posters and the ability to print larger/custom sizes. IDK...just thoughts.

I'm clean out of options. I needed a new perspective. I will check into those. My first thought is Firesprint.

We typically print them on vinyl and laminate it with Dry Erase (aka anti-graffiti lam). Then mount to ACM or Ultraboard. If they don't want the dry-erase, then I would probably print it on 8 or 12mil poster. We currently have one in our breakroom/conference room direct UV printed to Ultraboard.

The problem is that they want them as "giveaways". They want 100 of them. so they are looking for cheap.

I get them from our distributors all the time, the one from GSG (I guess the last one ever from them) was printed on Nekoosa Synaps OM synthetic paper on an HP 700. It looks fine I guess. The synthetic paper is pretty cool stuff, but don't run too many passes, it doesn't like to get too hot. Hit up nekoosa for a free sample roll.

If they are a construction company, print it on tyvek, just make sure you cover it in logos like Lowe's does for their home wrap products. They'll probably love the idea.

I do these all the time for car dealerships, usually one side vertical and one side horizontal, I direct print them on 20 pt dead white styren + dry erase lam both sides. I do 25-100 per group about 50 time a year.
