Want Versaworks to cut then drop....

....then cut then drop.

I'm trying to let the machine go overnight without hanging 60 ft of material off the front. If I tell Versaworks to do multiple copies, it does all of the copies then cuts it off. I'm banging my head on my desk.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Jeff

settings > printer controls > cut sheet after output? Just make sure you don't leave the media clamps in, at best it'll pause the queue till you remove them, at worst you'll get a pretty nasty head strike.

Not for the 300.

I just want them to fall lovingly in the basket.

"Cut sheet after output" works but only after individual print commands. Not between copies.

set your pagesize to just large enough to accommodate how ever many you wish to be in a set.

say you are printing 250, and 50 would fit in 2 ft of vinyl. select <custom cut> and set the length to 24" and the width to the size specified by the printer. this should print 50, contour cut 50 then sheetcut (I've never tried this) and start the next 50. this process should continue until the 250 quantity is reached. I have never done it with the sheetcut in there, but its worth a shot.

If you are looking for a take-up system, Pacific Coast Sign Supply sells a NICE one that works really well (from what I hear) for around $400....I've been eyeing it for a while on ours. I think it's cascade take-up system?? Maybe not? Ask em!

Can buy same on eBay....300. Or direct from China/bulk 175 ea.
Works well for print. For print/lam/cut ...I attach the reel to a stand
and drape print than advance reel, as tension of reel direct can cause
mis alignment of cut.
