Waterbased or solvent Fabric (Bigfish)

Just a quick note that may help others with waterbased printers.

Bigfish has a double sided fabric banner that I got for my solvent printer I wanted to try 54" x 99'. Worked on solvent just fine but...

Tried it on the old FJ 42 waterbased and the stuff seems to print like a charm. I wet it down with water almost right after the test print and it was ok and once dry you could not tell it was wet. Not sure how they would compare outdoor over time but if you happen to have a waterbased printer that you would like to run some fabric like banner material through, it worked for me. Others may want to try if they have the option to do so.

Ok.... But it will take a while... how long should I hold it out there?




I will try to print off a couple samples of the same file on both the solvent and waterbased and strap them to the fence. See what gives in a few months.
