Waxing Wraps?

I have always heard that waxing your wraps makes them last longer. However, I have never had any experience with waxing them.
What waxes can you use / not use on wraps? (A customer is asking me, and I wanted a solid answer)

we recommend any silicone based wax. these are usually a spray on and wipe around. no carnauba car wax.

I been told Synthetic Polymer waxes will do.
There are also Wrap Care products hitting the market from Oracal, etc.
Wrapcare JP as well...they have one for matte finishes even.

Fellers has sold Wrap Polish for years. Helps protect from elements and beads water, but it's not wax based.
