The applicant should have strong experience in sign-making. He or she should be comfortable with the production and light installation of signs and graphics, have experience with sign-making computer graphics (Adobe Creative Suite) and equipment (large format printing, laminating and vinyl cutting), and be able to perform occasional general office and administrative duties.

Job Description: Sign Maker
• Produce and assemble signs (in shop or on customer site)
• Design and output signs on the computer and large format printer.
• Install signs (in shop or on-site)
• Assist customers.
• Answer phone calls and perform some office work.
• Run work related errands as needed.
• Open and close the business.
• Maintain the business in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Track and re-order supplies.
• Work safely and maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow company rules and procedures.
Skills and Attributes:
• Large format printing and sign industry knowledge
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Working with vinyl (weeding, application, laminating, cutting)
• Assembly of sign parts and substrates (plastics, woods, metals, etc)
• Ability to manage projects (several at the same time)
• High personal standards
• Strong people skills
• Good language skills (spelling and grammar)
• Promote the goals and mission statement of the business.
