Transfer tape just peeled PAINT off of a van were wrapping.
Again that's transfer tape.. not vinyl.

wow. we had vinyl do that 2 weeks ago, never had transfer tape do it though.

I'd say somebody did a cheap paint job. not your fault but customer will think so. maybe ?

hope you get to cover up bad spot or hope you can buy paint match color from auto store.

I had that happen when I put racing stripes on a mustang once... come to find out he had driven from the paint shop to my shop to have the stripes put on... the paint shop hooked him up because they sent them to me and forgot to mention he would need to let it cure for 2 weeks.
