What all do you remove on trailer door when wrapping it?

I have a trailer I'm working on the design for a wrap/graphics, and I'm trying to figure out what to do around the latches on the doors (where you'd put the pad lock). Do you guys normally just run the security type bolts out of the latches, or do you leave those in?

I've been in this business 12 years and I still try to avoid much around them because I'm leery of taking them out and having issues under the metal where I can't go to anything.

I give two quotes.

1. wrap up to just before the hardware.
2. wrap to the bottom including a removal fee for an expert to come in and remove the hardware.

It depends a bit on how much they're willing to pay. For our discount customers, we'll leave hardware on and wrap as far behind it as we can do. But if they're willing to pay for premium service, we remove the hardware - or as much as necessary - to achieve the best quality full wrap.

So, are they willing to pay for the service? If so, take everything off (or hire someone who knows how to).

Yeah, I never gave it a ton of thought as to hiring someone that knows how, at least until I feel like I would know what's going on with it. That's probably my best option in this case. Good info.
