Pixels Are Bad Mmmkay?

We ordered an aluminum powder coated post and panel for a customer with a pair of ball finials. One of the finials has a small crack along the casting seam and a weld blowout as shown in the photo. Personally, I think the hole should have been filled with weld and sanded smooth before painting and shipping to us. Am I just being unreasonably picky here, or would others complain? I sent the company an email yesterday with these pics and haven't heard back, so I called again and left a message this morning to see if they can do anything. I'm hoping they will have no problem replacing it, but again maybe I'm just being ridiculous? I know if I were making these, this sort of thing wouldn't have left our shop. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
