What sort of thickness can the various Summa models handle?

Hi,

What sort of thickness of material can the various Summa models handle?

Thinking of producing floor graphics with a suitable laminate... So a normal thickness SA vinyl with say a 200 micron (max) textured laminate.

Would the Summa Cut / D series models handle this OK?

Or would I need an S Class?

Or even an S Class with the T head?

Would like to get away with the cheapest model possible but obviously only if it will do the job to an acceptable standard.

Thanks.

I have an S class and routinely cut 12 mil convex which works out to be about 304 microns. FYI

I also know of one that is for sale non-T model, if you are interested pm me.

I've never worked with any other Summa models. I had a graphtec fc5100 that would do the same thing. Just look at the cutting force in grams. Assuming that any of those models can cut at 200g you should be fine. Just get a 60 degree blade.
