White outlines

I'm a newbie to Edge printing. I'm trying to print 1" wide stickers with numbers on them and I get a white outline around the numbers. ( vinyl color) The background is red and the number is black. I have printed these before on a PC60 so I'm sure it's just something I'm overlooking. Thanks in advance.

You will need to set the black numbers to "overprint" to keep them from knocking out the background. You can do this because black is opaque. Otherwise, color shifting will happen. With other color combinations, the remedy is to use the "choke and spread" command to not have the knock out lines show.
