wth is wrong with people?

lady walks in and asks if we have a pamphlet with pricing. Well, no, we do custom work. I ask her what she was looking for for pricing and she says, "anything". I don't know if she wanted me to price her out for a hamburger or a yard sign.

She took up my damn time for nothin.

Is it possible she's working with another sign company to see what the competitors are charging? Sounds like she just got a job in sales for some other sign company, and her first task is to "shop" other sign companies to see what they are charging. It also sounds like she's not going to have that job for long
