Xaar 128/80 Printhead Expected Working Life

Spec. from Xaar is 18 months.
On one of our XL1500s that has close to 3 million s/f printed we have only replaced 3 of the 32 heads since 2007.
Proper care keeps them going and going. Wish I could say the same about Spectra heads....
The Xaar heads are inexpensive also they only cost about $400.00 each
