After shutting down for a day, to get a cartridge, my xc540 throws this 0004 code. My local tech, said to shut off main power, drop the cap station, move the print head to the middle of the platen, and turn on. This worked only once, unplugged for a storm, same code. It's called a Sub CPU SRAM error. So should I be looking for a servo board? Could this be from worn Stepper Motors? Any sources of used parts, or board level repair places?
