It's the software that came with it. I think it's called axis control and go produce. There was no edge feature that I could find, I'll have to keep looking.

Only reason I asked what software was because summa did have multiple different softwares depending on when you purchased the machine. The go produce software does have edge recognition. It's called "Align with edges" output option to align direct cut jobs with the media edges using edge detection. Created the artboard to the exact sheet size you are using, center the graphics on the artboard with zero bleed, and then use that same file as the your cut. You can even common line cut this. Many customers use this method.

I would love more info on this! Our F1612 runs GoProduce 2.0 and I can;t figure out how to do this

Summa has a plug-in for illustrator and Corel draw that adds crop marks to your file so the rip doesn't need to add them, By default it puts the marks pretty far outside the print area, but you can manually move them. I've asked summa about adding an option to place the crop marks inside the print area for applications like this, but they told me it's too difficult, I'm considering having a macro made up that would do this automatically

When are you going to open an ala cart website with all these macros and instructions? I know you've shared basically everything you've made at one point or another, they're just scattered across the forum. Plus, if you're going to take the time to organize them, ya might as well charge for them...

i am the first to admit i am more comfortable fixing the printer or plotter when it doesn't work, than producing signs with it, BUT,
why are the crop marks always FACING THE WRONG WAY.
if you cut on one axis, the second crop mark is on the piece you throw away

unless it is a trick question, the first option always make more sense to me

Never made sense to me either! Maybe an offset/guillotine cutter guy had a better answer.

I have pondered the idea of making my macros more accessible. Maybe at least in a new post and just add more from time to time. The trouble with a lot of these macros is that I had a lot of help in writing them and I wouldn't want credit to go unnoticed. Also many of my macros fit my workflow only. Many require that some of the keyboard shortcuts be changed. And many use various imported files. A lot were made for X7 & I couldn't guarantee they'd work for newer versions. Then their would sure to be problems from users that would have many questions or want modifications etc. I don't have the time for that. I would encourage anyone who has a need for a specific macro to give MS Copilot, or other apps, a try.

All you have to do is type in something like "I want a macro for Coreldraw that will do this......"
Open the Macro Manager Docker Alt+Shift+F11, right-click Visual Basic for Applications, choose New Macro Project, name it with no spaces, save to C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7\Draw\GMS
Your Macro will show at the bottom, right-click on it, choose New Module and name it, right-click on it and choose New Macro, copy the code from Copilot and paste in place of all the text. You'll then want to change the title if you don't like what Copilot call it - Sub "YourTitleWithNoSpaces"()
