A few weeks after installation we experienced some Yellow Discoloration Spots in Avery MPI1105 EZRS HP Latex Printed, Laminated with Avery DOL 1360Z . (See PDF attached - Red Circles shown around discoloration, ignore reflections outside of red circles).
-To the touch, there is no difference in feel when sliding fingers over the discolored area, this leads us to believe it is not caused by something spilled on the surface of the laminate.
-The car was stripped of old digital film prior to the installation of this graphic.
-Some body work was performed including body filler, sanding, soap and water washing and clean water washing prior to installation of the new graphic.
We have wrapped a number of similar cars that went through similar treatment for this customer and never experienced discoloring like this. We have used both Avery 1105 and 3M IJ180 in these applications.
Please comment if you have experienced something similar and understand the caused.
